Erin here! I'm writing today to do a bit of groveling. You see, I'm trying to get my first book "Moonlight & the Magician" published using Inkshares. As you may know, Inkshares is a crowdfunding site (like Kickstarter or Indiegogo but exclusively for books) that helps authors gather preorders for their books and will publish the work if you reach a certain goal (in my case, 833 or more preorders for an ebook deal, and 1,083 for a paperback deal). If I can reach my goal, I will receive a publishing contract including professional editing, marketing, and distribution. This would truly be a dream come true for me!

I've also entered into a contest sponsored by The Nerdist which ends on September 30th (a few days after my birthday, and shortly before I should be giving birth to my first child)! The contest works like this - the more people that preorder my book, the higher the chance of me being published in a special collection even if I don't hit my base goal of 833 preorders!
Even if I don't win the contest, every preorder counts towards my overall goal. If you would do me the kindness of contributing to the project I would really appreciate it! Consider it a birthday present. ;)
